I am a working mom with a toddler and twins. My daughter was born after multiple invasive infertility treatments but fortunately it only took one IVF cycle for the twins. This blog is mainly about balancing home, work and hubby with a little infertility thrown in.

Rainy Day Activities
Saturday wasn't a very nice day, weather-wise, so we had to come up with some fun activities. I wanted to get out of the house but there is not much you can do with a toddler, at least locally. We could have driven in to the city but that was just too far so instead we made playdough!
I also took the opportunity to make new crayons from all the old broken ones we have lying around. I collected the broken crayons and mixed them up in a mini muffin pan.
I then put the crayons in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Then we got the final result! Lizzie has yet to use them but I'm hoping they hold up a bit better than the normal crayons.

Ada loves making playdough. Probably as much as playing with it later.
We haven't done the crayon thing yet, but since we have a zillion crayon pieces lying around, we should! Thanks for the reminder!
What a genious idea with the crayons. I have to try it- and so simple.
congrats on the pregnancy.

I may have to try that crayon idea. Is your daughter enjoying them? Are they lasting long?
