The Book Worm

Alex is my little book worm.  He loves to sit on the ground and look at a book.  It calms him down when he is upset however try to take it away from him and then he will definitely be upset.  He also has the best facial expressions that always make me smile.  He is very ticklish and loves to be tickled.  He makes a smacking sound with his lips to show you he wants a tickle session, usually when his diaper is being changed.

I think he is starting to recognize when he feels the need to poop or has just pooped.  He'll come up to you and say "poopy".  He copies almost everything you say and is starting to put two words together.  He calls Lizzie "Di di" and Emily is called "Ni ni".  Lizzie and Alex play really well together and love to make each other laugh.  He pretty much follows her around the house.

Alex always has a sparkle in his eyes and is generally quite laid back (at least compared to his siblings).  He seems the most adaptable of all my children.  As long as he has his books and is fed then he is fine with any situation.

His walking has greatly improved although he will still use his arms to help him balance.  He ends up with a lot of mouth injuries as he always seems to fall face forward on to something.  I'm tired of seeing his mouth full of blood and will be very happy when he is physically more capable and confident.

I'm so glad that I have at least one boy along with my two girls.  It's amazing how much love you can have for your children!

My one boy is also a lot more relaxed then his diva girls.

Can't believe how big they are all getting.
