Fatherhood

When I was in Starbucks this morning getting myself a Dark Cherry Mocha (you see...I really fell off that sugar cleanse wagon) I saw a man sitting at a table talking to a friend.  This man was highly tattooed and fairly young.  On the floor next to him was an infant inside an infant car seat.  He was chatting with his friend and actively interacting with the baby, who I can only assume was his child.  On simply first impressions alone I would not have expected this and for some reason it warmed me to the heart.

It also got me thinking about fatherhood and my husband in particular.  Not long after I met him I got to see him interact with my cousin's children.  I knew instantly that he would be a good father and that definitely made him even more attractive to me.  Since we have had our children he has proven himself to be the best of fathers.  He helps me in every way with them and is truly a partner in raising our children.  He can do everything that I do and I never hesitate to leave him with the kids.  In fact, he did a really awesome job with them when I was away for a week in California with very little help from my family.  I am so happy that my children are being raised by such a good male role model.  I hope this helps to make them better people.   Thank you Greg for being a wonderful father!
