I have four addictions: caffeine, sugar, lip gloss/balm and Diet Coke.
In my last post I mentioned that I was trying to give up refined sugar for awhile. Today I fell off that wagon. My sugar cleanse lasted a whole two days. Clearly this is a problem for me. Not to mention the fact that sugar is everywhere! I discovered it was added to my "natural" peanut butter, it is in my bagels (another recent obsession of mine...Ray's New York Bagels..yum!), it is in my coffee creamer and if it isn't refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup, it is fake sugar. I really need to see if I can live without it for awhile.
I guess caffeine and Diet Coke are sort of related. I used to drink only a small cup of coffee a day but ever since I had kids I drink 2 to 3 large cups of coffee every day. Then I usually have a couple cans or small bottles of Diet Coke. It doesn't help that they give us free soda at work. When I try to drink plain water I find that I just don't drink enough liquids. I do better with water when I add something like Crystal Light but then we are getting back to the sugar/fake sugar problem I have.
I suppose though, in the grand scheme of things, these addictions are pretty minor especially the lip gloss one. I have lip gloss everywhere! On my desk at work, in my bedside table, in my purse, on the kitchen counter and on my dressing table. I am constantly applying it! I love buying different glosses and balms as well. I particularly like Philosophy's gloss range as not only are they nice and shiny, they taste good too!
What are your addictions?

I never drank coffee until the past few years. I can drink one cup and then have a diet soda at lunch and be fine. If I'm out and near a Starbucks, then I have to get a frap, though.
I'm addicted to chapstick - not really into anything but simple chapstick. Always in my pocket and applying it several times a day.
Water - love it. My mom thinks it's crazy how I will always have a cup of water nearby to sip on throughout the day.
