I am a working mom with a toddler and twins. My daughter was born after multiple invasive infertility treatments but fortunately it only took one IVF cycle for the twins. This blog is mainly about balancing home, work and hubby with a little infertility thrown in.

Good News/Bad News
Alex had his head ultrasound today to check for hydrocephalus. The good news is that he doesn't have it, the bad news is that he has more cerebral spinal fluid in between his skull and brain then he should have. This could cause too much pressure on the brain. We don't really know what this means or what is causing it at this point in time and Dr. Google isn't helping me at all. Every time I try to search for it all I get is hydrocephalus themed results. My pediatrician was out of the office today but I spoke with a nurse and she will be setting up an appointment tomorrow for a consultation with a pediatric neurosurgeon. I asked for one from Boston Children's Hospital. So now we wait. I hate waiting.

Will be thinking about you. Hope you get some good news soon.
I'm sorry. It is so no fun waiting for test results and for doctors to figure out what is going on. I'll be keeping him in my prayers.
I'm so sorry. I hope you are able to get in at BCH soon. Hugs to you!
