Becoming a Hermit

I think I'm going to become a hermit. I don't really like going out in public anymore due to the fact that people don't leave you alone when you are walking around with twins. It is a constant barrage of "You are busy!", "God Bless You", "I don't know how you do it", "You must be tired", "Oooooh twins, how old are they, etc." and so on and so forth.

Today when I went for a walk I found myself really tense as I prepared myself to be bugged wherever I went. I walked fast and with a purpose and I think I must have looked mean because even though it was busy in town I didn't get bothered as much.

I'd really like to relax though and enjoy my walk so I wish people would just leave me alone.

I totally understand. What are their names, when were they born, how much do they weight, how do you do it? And my - and Dawn's - personal favorite ... Are they identical?

I wish I could say it gets easier but I still get pestered, double strollers just seem to attract nosy people!

I know how you feel. Actually, we do stay home. Not only do annoying people piss me off, but it is much easier for naps to stay home. LOL!

How about a pair of iPod headphones, even if you don't plug them into anything ;-?

At the farmers market yesterday we got a lot of attention, and worse it is invasive. A woman - without asking - let her preschooler touch Mira's face. (I have a preschooler, I know how dirty their hands are!) AND THEN she asked me if I am breastfeeding. Um, pry much?

oooooh - I am so not looking forward to that! I thought it was bad enough walking a Great Dane (Where's his saddle? How much does he eat? You must have a big house! - if they only knew!) Let me know if you learn any tricks or snappy comebacks!
