Acupunture, Again!

I'm back seeing my acupuncturist but this time it is to try and turn these stubborn babies of mine. They are both still breech and I really want to avoid a c-section so I'm turning to alternative medicine to help me out. Believe it or not, to turn a breech baby via acupuncture you insert a needle in to the side of the little toe. In general acupuncture doesn't hurt. Sometimes you get a jolt of electricity when a needle hits a tender spot but otherwise you wouldn't even know they are there. However, you definitely feel it on the side of the toe.

I had my first treatment on Friday and so far the babies haven't turned. They are still pummeling my bladder on a regular basis. I'm also being treated for my carpal tunnel and to help relieve any back pain I might get thanks to the added weight. Let's hope it works because I really really really want to avoid major surgery.

I hope it works for you! My babies were breech and I had a c-section and it is funny to see pictures of them coming out with their booties in the air. LOL!

I totally hope it works!! I wish I could do something to get my Baby B to put his head in the right place, but I don't want to do anything to jostle Baby A out of her perfect position. :-)

Let me know if the accu helps with the carpel tunnel. I'm hoping to be able to knit if/when they toss me and the boys on bedrest but making a tight enough fist to hold the needle is almost impossible right now.
